Again, a little cheeky with today's theme. I kep seeing closed things, lol. Closed gates, closed shops, etc. So I went for something that reliably opens several times a day in London: the sky. We have such a wet summer - it is really depressing. The good thing is: you can find puddles and play around. I was inspired by the discussion that went up a few days ago when I thought "What? You don't need a lake like puddle for puddle shots?". Well, I can tell you now: True. You really only need a smallish puddle and need to hold your camera close to the ground.
Thank you so much for your comments, views and favs. And also a warm welcome to my new followers :)
@rich57 It's so much fun. I had always wanted to try but never found my 'olympic pool sized puddle' as @andycole said, lol.
And I agree with you, @crimper_chun - the rain must be good for something.
@irabat To be honest I just held the camera as low as possible and let the camera do the rest. You need to adjust the angle through trial and error until you have what you want ;) The focus was in the puddle for this shot.
Fantastic photo Lisa. It is interesting that we dont need a big puddle for a good puddle shot, just something interesting reflecting in it, which you certainly have :)
