Mini Olympics

We went on a bike tour to the German and the Danish House today. As Lego is Danish, an artist had rebuilt the Olympic Park in Lego and this is what it looked like. I thought it was absolutely amazing.

Thanks so much for your encouraging comments on yesterday's pic :)

Update: 250'000 pieces of lego and 300 hours work of the artist and his wife (says The Telegraph).

Wow - I wonder how long that took ... how big was it? Super neat image, and thank you, again, for sharing a view of the Olympics that most of us would otherwise not have! :)

That is very cool.

I love the POV of this image because it makes the little Lego people and the bumps of the Legos convey the sense of a crowd.

Is this at Westfield? My sister saw the Lego Olympic park there and said it's brilliant!

@judithg No, it was at the Danish House in St. Katherine's Dock. I didn't know they had two of them. And it was brilliant.
