We haven't seen much of Mt Rainier this summer due to the fires in British Columbia and Washington State. Really dangerous air quality. Finally, finally she is out after wind change and rain. Halleluia. So crisp but now I can see there is NO SNOW practically. Rainier was totally invisible for weeks so I didn't see that before. You can see the baby clouds forming on the top, lenticular clouds. There must not have been much wind up there today because they just sat there all day and all evening. Usually they drift to the left all day long.
Stunning photo

Good to see the skies a little more clear, as I head to Oregon in a few weeks! A beautiful scene.

Spectacular.... it makes me think of an artist's impression of a fantastic mystic scene, but it's all real. Fabulous!
