FAV! As you know by now, the mockingbird is my favorite bird.....(closely followed by the cardinal) . What a fabulous catch with the grasshopper and very striking photo. This is what a call a "Birds and Blooms mag" type shot ;-)

That's a superb shot, Tami. I have never seen a mockingbird. You caught him just at the right moment!

@janturnbull I followed it all around the yard from power lines to trees. Finally, got a shot that didn't block the bird or the grasshopper.
