Last Six Books

These are the last six books I read, with one exception - The Magician's Assistant by Ann Patchett was really number five (fabulous book), but my friend has borrowed it, so that moved 77 Shadow Street to the short list.

You've been busy. Good for you!

@pflaume Thanks Lisa. It's hard to get exposure as a newbie. The Latest page is one of the few ways to be seen but so many people post multiple photos, that your one daily picture gets pushed off within minutes.. Thought I'd try something else and it worked.

Me bugs the multiple picture thing too. Some post pictures from old days.
Books are so fotogenic.

Love books, I haven't found time to read in ages. I like Dean Koontz too.

Nice idea, I tend to give mine to someone once I've read them.

As far as getting people to view your shots, I think the more you view others, the more they will visit you in return.

There they are! The leaning (well, not so leaning ) tower of books! I am working on my collage of books right now. Because...I read on my Kindle, which syncs up with my Audible.com audiobook app on my Iphone. I listen to my books in the car (two hour commute) and then it syncs up to my Kindle or Kindle app on IPAD when I get home, so I can then really read print at night and on weekends. Then that syncs up to my audio book on my iphone, which beams my book to my car. All very techie, but I am a story junkie! Gotta have my stories! So I cannot shoot 6 recent hard back books I read. Two of them are in my classroom...they are kiddie lit, and now my students are reading them. But I liked them too! I will tag you when I get up my shot!

@bella_ss And Sheralee is right... if you view others' pics, find some you like, comment on them, then that that person will usually come back and look at/comment on your pics. :))

@espyetta Thanks MaryBeth - I have been doing a lot of that and I appreciate every single view and comment. I was just trying to find a creative way to boost exposure and it worked. Mostly it was fun to do which is why I signed up. I mentioned in someone else's post that 365 keeps me from reading all the depressing news from around the world. Much nicer to look at pretty pictures.

@twistergirl Oh yes...you don't have to tell me! Haha! It is a much more uplifting and positive way to spend your time. And it does help to get into challenges, social postings, etc.. to really enhance your experience. I agree. :0) And if I ever don't do much commenting, it is just because during the work week I am leaving at dawn and returning at dusk. So...just so little time. But I will do my best!

I used to read EVERY Dean Koontz book! My favorite of his (I think ) is Coldfire...or at least that is the one that has stuck with me all these years. In somewhat recent years, I read his book The Husband or The Good Husband. It was a page turner from page 1! A few of your other authors' names sound familiar..but I will have to google them to see what else they wrote. Michael Connely, I am suspecting, I read something by him. Dan Simmons sounds familiar also.

@espyetta I think your life if full-to-bursting! Don't know how you find time for everything. BTW, doing the book thing got me onto the New Faces page! I think I was on it once or twice for a split second. Every little bit helps.

@espyetta MIchael Connelly writes the Harry Bosch and Mickey Haller books and Dan Simmons is an amazing horror, science fiction, historical fiction...you-name-it writer.

@twistergirl Oh yay! That is great! I'm so glad for you! It is fun to see your pics up on there or the PP or whatever. :0)

@twistergirl hey there! Did you have other people post the 6 books? We could all tag it 6books and that way find th all in a search.

Yes, trhere were 11 showing a stack of books plus yours, which is on your page, and then a bunch of separate photos of single books. You can see them all on the Last Six Books You Read post. I don't know if I should go back and ask people to add tags. They might hate me.

Love books! Have read a couple of these...and may read the others. Nothing like a real book! A photo of a book on line would never do!
