Queenie holds membership 1 for dogs in our Bowls Club. Her owner Bill is blind but plays with us every weekend. The skip calls out distances from the Jack and Bill puts most of us to shame with his bowling accuracy. Yesterday he and Queenie organised a charity day for Guide Dogs Queensland and through their efforts over the past six months over $2500 was raised for the charity.
Here Queenie takes the opportunity to give herself a doggie manicure while Bill demonstrates his bowling skills at the end of a very successful day.
Great collage and story. I'm amazed that a blind person can bowl. I admire guide dogs and their trainers. I missed being around. I still a long way from catching up.
