Ladybird on Barley

Back in May I posted a photo of the emerging barley and labelled it "H is for Hope".

Since then it has been mown once and fed to our weaner cattle as hay during winter. Now the regrowth is coming into head and this second crop will be mown and wrapped in plastic to make silage to be held over until needed. So our hopes were fulfilled.
