Lots of laughs with this one. The usual peace associated with my first morning cuppa was punctuated by much peeping and other turkey chatter as well as the flapping of wings and clatter of toe nails on tin rooves. What was going on? I had to investigate.
The turkeys were exploring. All eleven had found their way up onto the garage roof, seven had then ventured into the cedar tree and the bravest five continued on to the very top of the persimmon tree. But here their path ended. I found them, necks stretched and peering around as if to say, "Where do we go from here?
@swilde@onewing@ladymagpie@skippysue@happypat I don't think the turkeys knew they could fly this high Pat. They are very clumsy up in trees and find it very difficult to balance. There is much wobbling and flapping of wings associated with such an adventure.
@triciaodonnell@cejaanderson@mbemis@ladymagpie Thanks for the humorous comments. It did look so funny but I think Heather took the cake with her "fowl play" quip. Thanks everyone for dropping by and sharing my mundane farm life stories. I really enjoy your visits.
