Riverside Catalina by ubobohobo

Riverside Catalina

The Riverside Catalina is a Queensland built fast cat ferry specifically built to carry workers across the Gladstone harbour to the QCLNG gas plant newly constructed on Curtis Island. It arrived in 2012 and has been carrying workers back and forth across the harbour ever since. Construction of the plant is now all but finished and the first two tankers of liquefied natural gas have left the port. Caught it returning to port today as I whiled away an hour or two between a appointments in Gladstone.
A lovely shot,I love going on ferry's.
Looks so beautiful there.

I like a ferry ride specially if you can get out on deck....not a bad way to go to work!

I'm with Pat @happypat . What a great way to get to work. I love boat rides. You've shown off the boat very well with your photo. Makes me want to get onboard!
