August has arrived and I've decided to undertake the word challenge. And today's word was a challenge. Finding something bright in the depths of winter when all is frost bitten and brown was not easy. But on the irrigation patch the odd lucerne stem missed by the mower was in flower and provided little flashes of brightness to my day as I moved the irrigation pipes this morning.
