Thwarted!

I'm on a mission to capture a night sky photo half as good as Terry Livy's http://365project.org/terryliv/365 who's presently sharing images from his Central Australian trip. He's given me instructions on camera settings. Thanks Terry. I've bought myself a tripod. All set. Now for the action. What's this? I don't believe it. Clouds covering the sky and not a star in sight! Oh well, at least I can share an image of my new toy.
