A little willie wagtail pair have built their nest on a clothes peg. The dark brown patch poking up out of the nest are their two babies. My grandson watches their progress by unpegging the nest and peeking in. Then the nest is clipped back on to the metal rod it sits on. The parent birds protest but don't seem too worried by the procedure. (oct15words...I know its not geese but it is a bird!)
They make such compact, strong nests but still marvel that the nest can be attached and reattached by your grandson. What a great way to see their development.
