I know its just two weeks since I posted these perching on the pergola but they do make me laugh as they jostle for the favoured position closest to Mum. The chicks have become so adept at walking on narrow beams, sliding down ridge poles and jumping from one side to the other of Mum. They are already far too big to be blanketed by Mother's wing anymore but they still tuck up together all cosy and warm for the night's rest. oct15words - cosy
