Our community came together to enjoy a meal at the Discovery Centre in an open sided but covered entertainment area. An impending storm hovered over the meal. Then as the last mouthfuls of dessert disappeared down it came - wind, rain and hail. Everything was soaked even the lens of my camera as I stood in the back corner trying to capture the scene. A great night spoilt but as farmers we relish the 35mm of rain that accompanied the storm.
