14th Feb 2016. My twin grandsons turned 18 today and we wound our way up Piton Maido on Reunion Island in the Indian Ocean after two days cruising north-east from Africa at around 20 knots. What a place to meditate - 2261m above sea level with the floor of the volcanic crater 1000m below somewhere through the mist.
