The lines in these petals are interesting! Not a peony, I would think! The leaf in the background looks like a nasturtium leaf but can't be!

@maggiemae I've always call it a Rose of Sharon but I don't think that's its correct name. The shrub has grown in our garden since the 1920s I'm told by the old gentleman who was born on the property.
