For the past week I've been trying to capture the brilliant red tail of our black cockatoos. The red is only visible when they spread their feathers on landing and take off. I've plenty of blank sky, black blurs, bits of birds but this is the only one of fanned tail feathers that I have. So this is my shot of the day. There's certainly room for improvement
