The Bridge comes up to let the Curtis Island Ferry through. We'd been caught in Gladstone all day waiting for our car to be serviced - a rainy miserable day. Still, the passengers on the Curtis Ferry seemed very excited with selfies being taken from every vantage point as the ferry made its way down Auckland Creek out into the harbour.
