Last Shift

The last shift of the irrigation pipes for this round of watering. We've reached the headlands. With the frost knocking back the rhodes grass this should be a good crop of lucerne hay in the making.
It sure is looking great

@ludwigsdiana @alia_801 It didn't look so good four months ago. The whole patch was covered in flood water higher than the fences a result of cyclone Debbie. This photo is looking down the track the flood took. All the blotchy yellow amongst the green is where the lucerne plants were ripped out by the flood waters as the main stream pushed its way across the farm. So yes it is good to see it has recovered so well.

We know all about watering the fields/area. Often to much of to less. Seldom it is as we want/need it.

Farming is so important, whether it is in America or Australia or any other country in this world. So good to look forward to a good growing season!
