Bonus word - Diptych

Off with the old. On with the new. All in a days work. Our latest community project - replacing the QCWA Hall roof.
This building has an interesting history. It began life as the Many Peaks Post Office in 1910. As gold mining petered out it was moved to Littlemore to become their Memorial Hall after World War 1. Then with the decline of this little township it was moved to Ubobo and given to the Boyne Valley QCWA to use as their meeting room. It is now heritage listed as a good example of how Boyne Valley buildings travelled across the area as populations rose and fell in the district.
There is so much to study and compare in these two photos. I liked reading about the building's history as well.
