Beaver Moon

I've never heard this name before but I found it interesting. A beautiful full moon shone in through our front door as we sat down to dinner and I thought, "There's my shot for the day - a beaver moon". It brought back memories of the excitement I felt when I saw my one and only beaver during our cruise to Alaska in 2008. However I think we should call it a Jacaranda Moon here in Australia. Jacaranda trees create brilliant displays of purple in November.
