To promote the Rene Magritte exhibition at the Art Institute of Chicago, these feet are at Oak Street Beach. They're a re-imagining of the pair in Magritte's 1934 painting Le Model Rouge, blown up to Oldenberg proportion.
What a wonderful and delightful photo! I heard of this exhibit and told my daughter who lives in Chicago. She said she'd seen some of it being installed. Now I'm here, visiting, and would love to see some of the works! They're wonderful and I'm glad you found these to share!
@Weezilou Thank you so much for visiting my project and I apologize for my slow reply. I hope you had, or are having a great visit here with your daughter in Chicago. I am planning to see the actual Magritte exhibit at the Art Institute this week. I had so much fun shooting these big feet I went back on more than one occasion.
@ukandie1 Never mind a delayed reply! I've been a terrible correspondent while visiting my kids & grandkids. I didn't get to see any of this, but told my daughter & send her your link...I hope she'll find the time to go. It's our last evening; we fly out tomorrow. What great weather; we had a wonderful time!

@voiceprintz They are moving them mid-August I believe. I am not sure where to, but somewhere on Michigan Ave I think.
@pistonbroke My daughter and I are planning on a trip to the exhibit in the next few weeks.
@jesperani Thank you for the follow, and the nice comment.
