Not a Selfie!

No it is not me!

She stands at the gate of the Mars factory that is about a mile from where I live. The factory has been at this site since 1929, a number of chocolate bars are made there including its namesake Mars bar. This statue is there as part of the "Plant Green Ideas" initiative in Chicago and symbolizes Mars commitment to sustainability.

When my children were younger this was always the last place we would go at Halloween as they gave out king size Mars bars.

Another great chicago sculpture, very striking. Love that Mars give out huge mars bars at Halloween, I imagine there is a huge queue!
