says move along no need to comment, or on closer inspection is he is telling me to go back out and play the lottery? I would be quite happy with the smaller jackpot of $70 million. Dream on!
This was the best that I have to post today, a quick phone shot from the car. Dreary day here, but it is the weekend. Enjoy it everybody!
I must admit to publish daily a photo taken on the same day is extremely difficult and you manage so well! Congratulation Andrea! I do not have your strength and perseverance but I hope you will continue this way and you'll end up that way.
@daneau Thanks as always Marc for your encouragement. I am 51% of the way there, but I must admit it is going to be difficult in the winter months of January and February, so we will see :)
@ukandie1 I know! We have the same temperature and I know I will have trouble making image that I will be proud. However, the important thing is that we are all here to help each other. I'll finish my project before you but I'll be there until the end of your project!
It's 9pm and I have no shot of the day yet. Low-key still life - - here I come!
I like this shot. It shows local flavor. I'm astounded by the number of places in this area that still have "drug-store" Indians on the premises. How iconic! And, ironic that right next door there's a sign indicating they speak Spanish. Classic! :)
Lots of cool details in this shot.. remarkably straight, for a car capture. Nicely spotted. As you may have noticed already from my post of today, I sympathize with your quest for the "shot of the day." The b&w works very well.
@rosiekerr Thanks Rosie, but I have to own up that it was super wonky, I should have added that I cropped and edited it in LR. Your shot today made me smile.
@voiceprintz Thanks JT , I have driven past this a ton of times and it has always caught my eye, but I have yet to see another one. Now I have said that I bet you I start seeing more of them..lol!
@ukandie1 There's an outrageously offensive one standing (very tall with glasses on) on a corner building on Pulaski, maybe near 63rd. I can't believe it's still allowed to be there.
I find this an intriguing street shot, Andie! The stereotypical Indian brave promoting the smoke shop. Makes me wonder how the native Americans feel about it though. Not for me to judge, I just admire your image.
Oh and I just saw your comment to our mutual friend @daneau about how to fill in the winter months. I would see that as an opportunity, coming from a place that doesn't really have a proper winter, and certainly no snow! I would love to see some snow once in a while! :)
You have a great eye.
@ziggy77 Thanks Jo :)
@davie Thanks so much Davie :)
