Wave

The same building as yesterday, but this is the side that faces Lake Michigan.
Interesting , I wonder how will we view this kind of building in 50 years time, I find modern architecture loud and brash, but buildings must evolve like everything, me included. I agree that it makes for interesting pictures

See, that's what I love about modern architecture....it responds to site conditions, to environmental forces, to interior function, and it just does not have to obey the rules of classical architecture that shape the building from the outside in! This is beautiful! Does this facade face west or south? Those fins also probably act as sunblocks!!

@panthora The bottom part of the building is the new visitors center, this is the upper portion that is actually a carpark, this side of the building faces east towards Lake Michigan so the fins are there to make for a more aesthetically pleasing view to those passing by on the lake. I am fast becoming a fan of modern architecture.
