One Year with Finn #10...Pearly Whites and the Tongue!

It is hard to believe that Finn has been with us for over two months, but having said that I can still remember the moment we walked into the first pavilion at Chicago Animal Care and Control. There was a brief moment when the door was open and everything was silent, and then the noise began! Unless you experience it I don't think it is possible to explain how stressful an experience it is! Somehow we chose Finn, or did he choose us, I am still unsure?
He has turned a milestone this week, in the past he would love to chill out in the garden but the minute you went inside he would follow you and if you left him on his own he would bark and whimper to come inside, the past few days he has changed. Not only is he asking to go outside, he is content to be out there alone!

As always I ask you to consider adopting before shopping for a new pet, and even if you buy consider giving money to a shelter, or seeing if they have a wish list registered somewhere any donation even the smallest is welcome!
Now that is indeed a tongue worthy of the name - you could get licked to death by that ;-))

This is such a milestone for Finn -- it conveys how comfortable he has become and how trusting that he can count on you. You won't leave him...out of sight is not out of mind. That's HUGE!
