Going Going Gone! by ukandie1

Going Going Gone!

My son, Dylan is to the left (Chicago), to the right is Gary (Orlando)...they went to high school together, and in the middle is Clebert aka Clay (from a tiny town in Louisiana). They were room mates as Freshman (first year of university) and remained room mates until graduation...friends for life! Love them all!
Congratulations to Dylan and the whole family! You have to be really proud. And I love the symbolism in this scene as he walks into this next phase of his life. And thanks for the visits to my files tonight. See you in Chicago - our plan should work out.

@taffy Thanks Taffy, I am miffed that I did not get a front shot, but we were running very very late so they were striding out in front of us, and arrived late as it was. As per usual commencement lasted too long, though Michael Bloomberg gave an interesting
speech. We had a great weekend, and am also looking forward to catching up with you in a couple of weeks!

Cheers to Dylan and his mates. May their paths forward be all they wish it to be and more.

@ukandie1 I think that a front facing one would be a great document shot, of course. But this one -- it actually creates a wonderful metaphor!

How wonderful, thank you for sharing

I thought a front facing shot would be better until I read your commentary. Now I agree with @taffy. In fact I now find it hard to believe that this wasn't an intentional artistic decision! If you had written that I'm sure I would have believed you! :-)

Congratulations to Dylan, friends, and to their families for seeing them through this adventure in life, as they go into their next. What a testament to friendships that we hope will last a lifetime, and how it bodes well for life-long relationships to come!

I really like the symbolism of their striding forth - an unexpected and powerful POV. Congrats. :)
