every evening and morning Belle sits on our bedroom window sill and stares outside... she will get most upset if I don't lift up the blind and open the curtains for her...
This is exactly what Katniss does every night and morning too. I call her my lookout kitty! She especially loves it if the window is open to get the sound and smells too. :)
@ulla I am sure Belle is in charge, just like Katniss! Well, since Katniss was a stray, she does love her outside time...chasing leaves in the wind, teasing the squirrels, playing chase with Sophie, climbing trees and the fence. Lucky for me, she does stay in our yard or the neighbors yard and usually comes when I call her. Katniss will cry at the door if she cannot go outside even though we have a four level home. I do make her come in before it gets dark or when I am away from the house. Otherwise, the door is cracked open so she has her freedom to come and go as she pleases...and so does Sophie. Katniss helps keep Sophie young and active. They really are good together. :)
