Returned to the same spot,looking over the North Dock towards The Shard - this time armed with a mini table-top tripod. Intention was to capture a crystal clear shot of the lit building across the water, while implying movement of people in the foreground. Not 100% success, but I think it's an improvement of my previous try
Wendy @farmreporter Thankyou so much for the get-pushed challenge this week to try some night photography. The links you posted along with it were certainly helpful. I followed the advice to use a tripod (albeit a light mini table-top one, as I ended up wandering 10 miles!) I think next time, I might try shooting in RAW as that was another suggestion. That, and/or buying a shutter release cable
This is so cool! Your ghost people really add to the whole scene! I love how crisp and clear the railings and posts are in comparison to the people.
I also like how the longer exposure made the water so silky smooth.
