past, present and future

In the blurred foreground is a dead leaf from last fall, a bright spring crocus, and in the reflection, a towering tree budding out readying for its transition into spring. I've come late to the reflection theme, but flooding provided a beautiful opportunity.

Lucky us -- flooding everywhere! I hope you didn't have too much of a problem with it. And, the benefit is this is really a fun photo -- love the blurred items that frame the puddle reflection.

I really like the reflection. To me, the blurred edge is slightly large and a little distracting but I do like the idea you were going for there.

@olivetreeann thanks for the critique. I was focusing on the crocus - trying to capture some unique, "please not another crocus shot" angle and found the tree reflection and decided on it instead. Definitely not my normal aesthetic!
