altar in a taxi

I have seen many taxis with statues of Lord Ganesha but this one being a catholic had his own of Lord Jesus. We truly are a multi cultural society in our city.
good to see everyone is free to display their own faith

Seems a worthy photo opportunity! From your comment, I would gather the Catholics might be a minority religion.

@cruiser @shuttertux @carolmw @dawnee @agedrunner @lynnz @golftragic Thank you. Christianity is India's third largest religion with approximately 27.8 million followers, constituting 2.3 percent of India's population.
Christians are a significant minority, and they are a majority in our states of Nagaland, Mizoram, Meghalaya and large populations in Goa, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Arunachal Pradesh and Manipur.
Christianity was established in India by the 6th century AD. and has had a significant presence in the field of education.
We are a secular nation and respect rights to religious beliefs. Being from the same cultural ethos the christians here use idols, coconut and flowers in many rituals. i personally grew up with friends of all faiths.
