Portrait work...my love and passion and the reason why I love photography so much...capturing children and adults just a that right moment...that moment can last for the rest of their lives. Today I just created ( the one above.) one of those photos that will be my moment for the rest of my life.
@rockinrobyn@kellc Thank you so much for seeing what I see...I just feel so emotion when I look at this shot...that's just me loving taking photos of people...I just love it. :)
@tonydebont Thank you Tony..I follow this person and she is a wonderful photographer...this kind of thing happens on the net unfortunately...just have to ignore it....don't give the person the satisfactory of them knowing it has shaken you.
Someone else (@claeshields) already said it, but this is so much like that iconic National Geographic Afghan-girl portrait! That was my first thought when I saw this. You did a gorgeous job here. Absolutely beautiful. Fav! :)
Wow Joanne. This is my favorite portrait of yours. The composition and light are so perfect, and there's something about the slightly downward angle that to me makes her seem so vulnerable. not sure if that's the right word, but it definitely is a great emotional image. Fav
@rockinrobyn I just found out... didn't know I was in the top 20. I'am printing this one into an 11x14inch photo. :))...it's also going into my portfolio. Thank you for letting me know.
I didn't realise how far behind I was in my commenting until I saw this in the top 20! Congratulations! It is a stunning portrait and she has such beautiful eyes. I love following you and your passion for photography is so inspiring. Fav!
You have really capture her as she is right now! Fav
