Solar Power

It was a tough choice today, but this one won. I liked how the sun came out in the picture - shooting straight into the sun, I couldn't really see exactly what it is going to be.

this really stopped me in my tracks , something about the textures of the "pipes" transformers? (I don't know the right word ) catching the sun, and the fiery gradation - and then your great title!

Thank you very much for stopping by! Henrietta, those transformers were actually so nice - I have another picture I might post as a runner-up that is just glowing with the setting sun. Plus they look kind of interesting when they are all together. And the title just "emerged" as I was uploading it :) Thanks!

Классное фото! Я давно мечтаю заснять солнце, но у меня так здорово не получалось. Судя по числу диафрагмы, моя камера на это просто непособна! :) Хотя возможно на меньших значениях получится! Спасибо за идею! :)

Спасибо. У меня всегда такой лозунг - не знаю, что получится, но попробуем. Иногда в фотоаппарате есть даже установки для "заката" - там и white balance тогда будет настроен на оранжевое небо, и другое должно тоже подойти. Удачи.
