Wet and Wavy by vera365

Wet and Wavy

Went out to walk around the neighborhood today, came back very quickly completely wet, but with several strong candidates for today's picture. This one won.
As always, I very much appreciate your reactions, comments and critique.
I love it. All the angles of straight lines - shutters, roofline, the lovely dentil molding, window mullions, etc. counterpoint to the wavy lines reflected on the rooftop. I love your tight crop as well. And the colors. A winner for sure.

Nice contrast between the very geometric shutters and the organic shapes in the water.

Well spotted , a good shot , the luxury of having a few contenders for today
I can,t say that after looking at what I got, but tomorrow is another day.

Almost two images in one. The sharp windows and shutters, and the lovely reflected pattern.

You have a great eye for the unusual and this is no exception. Really like the patterns on the roof.

Thank you very much for viewing and leaving a comment!

Judith, Vstap, Bob - it's always funny when you take a picture because it kind of "looked right" to you, but after someone notice all these interesting things about it, you realise that all that was exactly the set-up that made it look good in the first place. Thanks for noticing all the details!

Ann, thanks for the compliment - the motivation to keep the eyes open is what attracted me to 365 in the first place! :)

Jborasses - I am eyeing a couple of doors and windows in the neighbourhood for future possibilities, so who knows, maybe there will be more of those on 365.

Thank you all!
