The Weave

Detroit Metro Airport, the "spitting" fountain. You can watch it for hours - it starts and stops in all possible ways - projectile-shooting water droplets or streams one by one or all together in different patterns. I just loved that airport feeling of calm and freedom. (Well, if you don't travel alone on the overnight transatlantic flight with two kiddies!) :) They also had a live band playing!!!!!
As always, I appreciate reading your comments and reactions of any kind! Thanks!
Even better with the grid from the glass and the reflections.

Ha, I've seen it yesterday morning. Too funny, all those parallels in our lives.

@californialover I will start looking over my shoulder wherever I go, Ute! :) But ... honestly speaking, you would be a very nice person to "bump into" :). I hope your trip was good.

Thank you so much for commenting on the fountain! You are right, Danette! I liked those straight lines in the background, although I didn't realise right away that they attracted me to the scene - only on the third shot I figured that I should pay attention to the background, after first just focusing on reflections. I am glad you guys liked it.

It's at McNamara Terminal - you pass through security, and enter into that main hall directly into the fountain. That's where the kids get stuck - between the fountain, the driverless train on the top rail and the stores you lose a couple of minutes before continuing to you gate. :) @vstap
