City in the Mustang's hood: Color

Ok, soliciting opinions here. Classic car expo in Ludwigsburg - this is one of the city's symbols reflecting in the hood of a red Ford Mustang. I liked it in original color with some editing to bring out the details on the church and the people walking around. I am also putting the high-contrast black-and-white photo in my other album, soliciting opinions: which one would you go for - color or black and white? Black-and-white version can be seen here: http://365project.org/vera365/runner-ups-to-3/2015-04-26
i love the colour here - will check out the b&w and let you know :)

Love all the details here and all the photographers....

The color one is awesome! Beautiful detail in the reflection. FAV.

I like the color one because of the detail in the reflected buildings. Fav

Sue
I prefer the B&W version although the detail in the shadow adds to this.

Love it again. Think I prefer this version.

Love them both! More detailed comment left on the mono version... ;-)

Fabulous shot, reflection

have gone back and forth, back and forth. believe it would depend on who your audience would be; i prefer the b&w because it highlights the chrome more but these things are so individual as to what we look for. this one has more detail in other areas and is outstanding, too. immediately caught my eye.

I like the detail in this one best. A funky, fun shot.

Мне этот больше нравится, чем ЧБ

I like this one as you can see the detail of the buildings. Great idea.

They're both neat, but I prefer this version with the details of the church visible in the sea of color!

I love this one. No wonder, since red is my favorite color😂 well done!
April 27th, 2015
I love this one and prefer it to the black & white
April 27th, 2015
I prefer the color version, because it helps you to identify it as a reflection in a car and because it has more detail.
April 27th, 2015
I prefer this one because the details get lost in the b&w version. (Using other filters, it should be possible to avoid this.:) )
April 27th, 2015
I love them both and I am a big fan on b&w, but in this case I think I prefer the colour.

FAV

I prefer the colour version, because you can see that the buildings are. It could be if you processed the mono to bring out the detail, I could end up changing my mind.

Oh thank you so much for giving such detailed feedback on the Mustang's hood! I was going back and forth on posting it (between this one and the more "traditional" car-show picture, and I am glad I did! It's one thing to have a certain opinion or an intuition about own picture, and a completely another to hear what others think about it and what kinds of suggestions or possibilities there are out there to make it better. So, huge thanks! I appreciate all your comments on this!

@roulin Спасибо! Мне, в принципе, тоже, из-за деталей и необычности.

Like them both but this one gets my vote - as others have said, because you can see the buildings. Also I like the little b&w vignette in the v. Great shot!

What a fantastic shot! I love how you captured the reflection in the hood of the car, fav!

@pistache @btwebb Hi Clare, hi Barbara! Thank you so much for your comments! Clare, I totally agree with you - after having them posted for a couple of days here, I do prefer the colourful version. It was great to hear all the opinions and views on that.
