DPS published a couple of shots with the shallow DOF, so I decided to give it a go today. And combine it with another attempt at the get pushed challenge I got from Marta @whimsicalgrateful - "caught by surprise". So, I ambushed my cat, who was not doing anything illegal, but gave me a "busted" look since I came in so unexpected.

P.S. I've just realised he doesn't even look like the cat from my previous shots - he lost all of his winter fur and is a mere shadow of his usual wintery-looking giant self.
@whimsicalgrateful - sorry, once the head starts working on a problem it's hard to stop :) Third attempt at "caught by surprise". I think I should stop now :)
I think this is my favourite of your responses to the challenge. The combination of POV and dof work really nicely together. And the softness of the colours really brings his eyes out. Fav.
