We went for a short hike today around giant rocks on top of the vineyards on Neckar near Besigheim. In this picture, you only see the tops of the rocks in the LR corner where the dry grass ends. The views were spectacular, especially right after the terrestrial downpour that caught us on arrival in the parking lot. So, picnic in the car while waiting for thunderstorm to stop, and then spectacular views of freshly washed landscapes.

Thank you all so much - it was such a beautiful hike that it was really hard to pick just one photo yesterday. I am glad you enjoyed it. And I am - once again - so happy to be a part of 365 that forces me to think about taking the best possible picture of things we see. I will be happy to have all those memories once we move back to the US!
