Snow In The Park, better on black

Photography is a nice excuse to get out of the house all by myself while kids are napping and doing homework!!! Nice.

I like your framing and leading line which draws your eye to the building. Then the oval window is a nice contrast in shapes. It all works perfectly.

You've caught the snow perfectly.

Beautiful textures in this, I love how the softness of the snow contrasts with the stiff architecture.

This is a scene waiting for a literary event to take place. Maybe maternal solitude is just that

For some reason, I am so happy that this picture got so many of your positive comments. This is probably one of my favourite ones I've taken at least this year. If I think about the reason for this, @helenacharles and @francoise - you are very right - is because to me it also looks like a great setting, ready for something to happen there. Plus stones, snow and cold - just about the description of my happy place :)

Thank you so much for visiting, commenting and viewing!
