Evening in the neighborhood. This is the oldest house on our street - kind of a fairy tale house, makes me think of the Little Red Riding Hood. It only has an oven for heat and makes the neighborhood smell of nice cozy smoke when heated on cold days.
@kaylynn2150@stownsend I think it is late 40s? early 50s? They were on the well water before, but just connected to city water. Otherwise, it looks very cozy. The person who lives there is 96, living on his own with family visiting every day. It has thick walls like an adobe house and looks very inviting any time of year. That giant house behind them is a fairly recent creation and it completely overpowered the little house.
