Spring Ride

Our first ride of the year....5 hours in the saddle....and I got to share it with my daughter. Her last full day home for spring break. Beautiful day riding....the rain stayed away until we were home and unsaddling. Our noses are only a bit sunburnt and saddle sore.
Love the composition! The trees make a beautiful background.

Sounds like a great first ride! I'm still tired from my four hour ride this morning, so I can understand how you feel

@busylady Those are red bud trees. They get little clumps of pinkish/purple flowers every year in the spring and then leaf out to sorta heart shaped green leaves. @grannysue @mwarren365 @butterflz @cookie123 Thank you all. @smallenburg Yep....gorgeous way to relax, I just don't have my body in shape to ride longer than that.....yet :) lol....it'll get there :) I used to ride all of the time but as a grown up, there's just not as much time to do that anymore.

@christinnoelle Yes they are when you're in shape for them ;) I used to spend all day in a saddle when I was younger. Time for me to get back to that point!
@seanoneill Thanks! All about conditioning and getting your muscles used to it....I'm working on that. I used to be able to spend all day in the saddle and then get up and go for a night ride when I was younger....I miss those days! :)
