The island that inspired the whole trip. I was so excited to finally try my hand at getting the shots I had seen posted by others who had been there. I am not sure about you, but every time we go on a vacation to a place I want to shoot, I suddenly get so nervous that I won't t 'get the shot". I worry that I will let myself down. I am always so relieved when I get back and see them on the computer and know that even if it isn't the same as the shot I had seen, I at least have a decent shot. I posted my top three on the 25-26-27 of September if you didn't see them.

Funny, when I go somewhere I always worry that I only get shots I could have bought on postcards.
This is gorgeous! Santorini is a spectacular place. And I know what you mean! I was so concerned that I wouldn't meet my own expectations on my trip to Africa last month. Luckily, I did get some good shots ( and lots that weren't so great) but now that it's been a couple weeks, I'm seeing them a bit differently and noticing they look better somehow than when I first viewed them. Now I'd like to learn some new processing techniques to improve on what I have.
Gosh, this place is just pure heaven! I love how the path is there....winding up the hill and the star burst effect is great too....And that blue. Just wonderful!
@redy4et yes, I have Lightroom and use it most of the time, but i don't get too involved with the edits...I am afraid to make it look edited. I also have Photoshop and know that there is so much more that I could do. I need to get started with a Photoshop class. Your trip shots are fantastic!
