Spring has nearly sprung! by vignouse

Spring has nearly sprung!

This is a bud from a hedging shrub which is on the point of bursting into life. The actual length of the bud is about 12mm but seen large here one can better appreciate its intricate strucure - ain't nature wonderful!

Beautiful shot. So clear

Beautiful macro. I love to see the bursting buds.
(you missed the letter "o" in macro in your tag... so it won't be together with the other ones... ;)

@anazad511 Thanks Ana for the comment and the reminder - Mrs S is away and it's a busy week on my own... and when I'm tired, my typing is the first thing that goes awry.

@longexposure Sounds like you have aproper sense of priorities, James! Everybody does this I think now and again; my trick is to press Fav when I meant to press the magnifying glass - especially when I'm using my iPad to view!
