... wandering around the garden in the early evening, I noticed that out of dozens of blooms, just this one Marguerite flower had remained open. When I looked closer I was amused to find that this flower had two (yes two!) little visitors.. I imagined what the flower might be saying...
Of course it could be like leaving a window open in a car and hoping the bug flies out. I know, I know I've been told I disagreeable. So is your marguerite our daisy or are they two different flowers. They do make lovely captures. Even with bugs.
@frankhymus Hi Frank - this is the Tamron 28-70mm at full stretch and stopped down by 2/3 of a stop: I reduced the saturation and luminance of the green channel somewhat so that the flower head really stands out.
@vignouse Thanks. Yes, I find I have to do that often with the Nikon cameras, drop the greens considerably with big leaf or grass backgrounds left in color.
Hey Im Cindy your push partner this week , i love all your photos hard to figure out what to challenge you, so I went with a speed shot, it can be speed as like light, or speed like your showing slow speed or fast !! hope its ok if not just message me
@pittcj17 Hi Cindy - in the last month I have had challenges to show 'movement'. 'action' and 'something fast'... with the best will in the world, my creativity is about all used up on that front! I'll have another try if you really want me too, but I would much prefer to have a go at something completely different, if you don't mind.
@joansmor they are the same flower
