@kalathia She's full of energy again but she really wants to get at her stitches (of which there are quite a few, because she had a birth hernia repaired at the same time as she was spayed) so sh'e going to have to put up with her cone for another 9 days.
@lynnz@taffy She's not really sad, just frustrated that she has to wear the cone until her operation wound heals and she can have her stitches out. She's a bit clingy as a result so she wasn't happy that she had to stay in the garden whilst I was working in the lane in front of the house. Thought it made a good story shot for my this week's Get Pushed challenge.
When I first saw this, I was worried it was a shot of an unloved doggie (which I have trouble contemplating). Having read the comments, I am relieved to know that this is very much not so... and your shot works so well to suggest the tale (however untrue). Nice shot.
Yes Richard, a resounding success because after all, what is the purpose of a picture that doesn't speak to the viewer? This one speaks volumes and is definitely a fave for me!
Those confining fence slats definitely give a sense of sadness to the image, that and the pleading look on her face, the one that's asking, 'Don't you love me anymore?'
