Slipping anchor ahead of the storm...

The scene in Portsmouth Harbour this afternoon as the ferry to Caen-Ouistreham slipped away from its moorings just ahead of the storm. These clouds were so low that it seemed that if you stretched out, you could have touched them. Two minutes after this photo was taken, the heavens opened and the deck was awash in seconds.
