There comes a time in the night when the hour passes from that of the dog to that of the wolf; when the transparency of the day gives way to the deep shadows and mysterious illuminations of the dark; when the sun's nightime sister changes the face of familiar things. @essiesue Thank you Sue, much appreciated but the Fav button appears not to have worked as it's not showing on my stats... could you have another try please?
If I look at you image for a long while, it seems like the windows turn into eyes and the door into a mouth, which makes it mysterious, then it goes back to normal! Great refections and light.
I peeked and saw this at work yesterday but I was so tired when I got home (watched a game late into the night Sunday) that I just couldn't stay awake to comment. It is beyond fabulous. Dark, mysterious yet some how full of light.
This could be a still from a film with the next shot being the house morphing into a terrorising face and the branches becoming noxious, sulphurous tentacles emitting visible evil. Now I know why I don't, won't watch horror times. Gone to close the shutters! Great FAV
@vignousefollower Thank you son-of-mine! 'Entre chien et loup' is a an 11C French poetical expression meaning twilight - the time of day when it would have been difficult to distinguish a dog from a wolf... however, the words and the interpretation here are entirely my own.
Fab on black Pops. To me it looks as though the trees are in the process of devouring the house. I can almost hear the branches creaking. Decay with menace.
