Snowdrop

Our front door opens onto a narrow dead-end lane and the other side of the lane is a high bank enclosing a field. At the beginning of every year the bank is white with snowdrops and this year there are more than ever: it's quite a sight as all our visitors remark. Somehow though I can't quite capture the drama of that in a photograph, so instead of many hundreds of snowdrops... here's just one!
