This scratches an itch. Every time I visit St. Méen Abbey I am drawn to the ruined presbytery behind which has an eerie feel about it even on a sunny day. Seeing it today beneath this dramatic sky, I knew that this was the day I absolutely had to photograph it. The problem is, it is surrounded by an 8 foot high wall and you can in fact see just a part of the upper storey, which only adds to the air of mystery. Happily today I had the Sony Nex 7 with me with its adjustable rear screen, so I was able to stand on tip-toes - in the graveyard! - hold the camera over my head and get a view over the wall... just! It didn't disappoint!
Awesome in B&W!
