Experienced Hands...

...Mrs S this evening unpicking the unsightly label from a fine cotton scarf.
I am so fond of hand photography. I've never tried it myself... but will, when I see an interesting pair! Your wife has lovely hands with lots of work history evident in them. Again, thank you for sharing with us!

@vignouse I am now quite jealous!! I already have the lens you mentioned but crave that new camera! I've been eyeing the D750! Let me know how you like it!
May 14th, 2015
PS, Richard: I think you are going to find yourself reaching for that nifty fifty a LOT!
May 14th, 2015
@vignouse : Might I ask why in the information box next to camera it says "corporation"? When I click it it goes to a general camera listing at amazon.com.
May 14th, 2015
And speaking of toys, that little seam ripper is one of the best sewing toys ever invented... glad your Mrs. S. has one in her gear.

@akirk I know that you hanker after a D750 (or a refurbished D4S) which is why I mentioned it... I'm not expecting it to be much different to the D610. As for the lens, I already had the 50mm f1.8D but wanted the the wider, later version as I like to do low light work.

Why 'Corporation' in the camera type? I posted a discussion on it a week or so go - this is a problem for users of the latest version of Lightroom, LR6 or LR CC. it says Corporation for Nikon cameras and nothing for other makes due to a problem with reading the Exif data in the updated apps... Ross is on the case!

I can't sleep, so I was looking through your albums and this on caught my eye. I love this hand photo and how lovely your wife's hands are. I have to look through 10,000 photos of my daughter so I can post a photo of her little hands from years ago. Thanx for reminding me of a precious memory, from your extraordinary shot. It looks perfect in b&w...fav!
